Bike Trainer

Mr. Bear the shopper, found me an awesome Bike Trainer for $5 at a yard sale. Can't beat that. So my gym is slowly building. This is very exciting. Thanks Bear! - Ooh, and I took the pic with my new phone. YAY!

Upgrade

As long as Cell phones have been around (yes literally)... unless provided by my employer, I have always had the basic phone. It could handle calls, text, basic pics, and that was pretty much it. Of course, that was once text messaging came about, and pic phones... blah blah blah.

I have officially upgraded. Not to anything like an iPhone, but to something that has a nice little data package. Not too expensive, just right. So, Tada... Here is my new phone, the Samsung Gravity. It's Hot!

Happy Earth Day 09

Today I was wearing a Modern Mechanix shirt, and then suddenly Love looked at Google and realized that it was Earth Day. I said, I can't wear a machine shirt on Earth Day. So I changed into a green t-shirt. YAY!

Then, at 1PM, the office building served us Green Cookies and Drinks in celebration of Earth Day.
Good Times!

Tis the season to Grill On!

This weekend we had some friends over and we were talking about grilling and how we had problems last year with Blue Rhino tanks.

Love found something on Clark Howard and found this company as a reference, so we tried them out.

We ordered on a Friday afternoon and the tanks were delivered and hooked up before 10AM the next morning.

I hardly lifted a finger except to click order now. There were not any commitments we agreed to, we just place the order and they deliver.

I highly recommend this company.

Fruitful in 2009

So many of my friends say... you're so busy. You're always busy. They feel that Love and I do not have time for them because we do so much. That's not true, we do have time, we just need to plan ahead a little. The word "busy" has frustrated me over the years. I have even found myself arguing the point, I'm not too busy, all the while knowing my schedule is full. This is because I am working a full time job as well as part time ministry work. Of course I'm busy! But as of 2009, I am not going to call it busy anymore. I'm done with being classified as busy.

I am fruitful. I produce much fruit. When I am not working at my job, I will continue to be about my Father's business, producing much fruit. So friends, I love you and I want to hang, but know I am being fruitful and that I must do what I do, because it is what I am called to do. It is my purpose, my mission, and yes, it is my Race that is set before me. I will run my race, I will complete what is set before me, and I will produce much fruit. :-)

Prop 8

There are many things going on right now in History. We have elected our first African-American President. Same-sex marriage is becoming legal, then illegal, over and over again.

There are many things happening online regarding the same-sex marriage fight.

Here is one that I have signed.
http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/protect-marriage-protect-children-prohibit-divorce
I also added the below in the comment section.
"Sanctity, as defined by Dictionary.com. "The state of being holy or sacred, that is, set apart for the worship or service of gods. It could also mean being set apart to pursue (or to already have achieved) a sacred state or goal, such as Nirvana." In this case, we can easily substitute Nirvana with Marriage. Sanctity and Holiness of marriage is exactly what Same-sex couples are asking for, the divine commitment accepted by law. If the purpose of Prop 8 is to keep sanctity and holiness in marriage, then Divorce should be abolished."
